I will go out and have a chat to him this week...see what we can arrange...I think up behind the MASA shed for camping. use the MASA awning area for general entertainment, we have fires just outside. There will be less noise from up there with all the sheds around....I will check with the MASA boss, doubt it will be a drama, as long as we clean up after ourselves....Its a pretty handy spot....but again, I will also see what Rob had planned....I think its a looooong way away

There was some talk about setting us up near the dam wall ...... which is OK IMO ( though I still need a powered site) ....... I can still stumble my way back to the tent as it will probably be daylight)
I guess my main aim is to give Rob plenty of notice so he can arrange fellow campers away from us ..... or at least warn them.
Anyhow ... it will be good if you can discuss options with Rob & MASA - so we can put it out there for opinions.

Hi Fellow Ausfishers & IBD sufferers
Well its pretty well looking like The Mighty Whitey & I will be heading up for a week of therapy (12th-20th) ...... with the plan to split our time between the two impoundments.
This will be my first venture to chase dam barra so early in the season (humour me you lucky locals) ...... We normally fish impoundments in late Oct /Nov as a side interest to our NQ estuary trips.
So what can we expect ....... Typical weather patterns / temps ( night temps) We will be tenting it ! I Froze my butt off one night - last Oct at Cania
On the fishing front (knowing weather pattens play their part) What tactics are successful ..... ie surface poppers / walkers etc ...... Shallow or deep ( Night fishing)
Anything else
We'd appreciate some help ........ Also I need to advise MW on what he needs to stock up on ! ......... Besides beer

Just sitting here lickin my chops after a big feed of chilli garlic king prawns.
In a hot wok add a good splash of sesame oil, a BIG table spoon of crushed garlic, and 2 finely chopped small red chillis. Fry off for 30 seconds, then add a splash of fish sauce, plenty of sliced leek and corriander, and a tea spoon of red curry paste. Give it a stir for another 30 seconds, then add the green prawn meat, and a squeeze of honey and cook till the prawns have just changed color, making sure all the prawns are coated in the garli/chilli/curry paste.
Serve with a crusty ciabatta loaf, spooned on top of a salad of lettuce, corriander, cherry tomatoes - absolutely awesome feed.
This has nothing to do with the muster, but damn, that was a nice meal!
