All things good we should be at Gin Gin early enough to listen to the roosters do what they do

getting back to tackle talk,,anyone used the yozuri hawian snaps.???had a chat and a beer or 4 with al dolan tonite,showed me one they look the goods ,smallish and tuff, copys are similar but not as strong..not a big fan of snaps but he swears by em and hasent had one fail him yet,and hes a cum the f$#*k here fish, sort of fisho.can get them at wellseys tackle at kawana.might sneak down there tmoz and pick some up..anyone want a pack..???

I've used the Shogun Brand Hawaiian Snaps. You need to use a large split ring on the tow point either 6 or 7 hyperwire. they are relativly easy to attach to the split ring but can be hard to open when removing. I stopped using them in favour of a loop knot after the first trip, I thought the extra weight up at the nose of the lure might effect its action.....maybe not, dunno but I've still got them for Kims rods
