What this thread has done is bring a lot of like minded people together to carry on about their passion for barra fishing, meeting each other and easing the I.B.D.

I used to have an SS bat, (Neil Harvey) was a bloody good bat, i used to hit the ball out of Burwood park onto the bowling green

The bats are much more high tech these days but also very expensive

Was just thinking, what are the chances of The Mighty Whitey speaking with a much higher piched voice after this trip

I bought a 6" Storm Slow sinking Wildeye Curl tail shad ...... I'll cut the back hook off & upgrade the trebble to a No 1 Owner
Could be good for the slow fishing techniques required at Mondy!

I've got a River 2 Sea Live Bait that a chap from Tackle World gave me, about 6 or 7 inches long.

Looks like a rainbow trout, has an internal metal frame with two very heavy trebles hanging off it, heavy enough to pull a Nissan out of a bog

Seems to have a hardbody inside the front part, with a shallow running bib, back part is all soft plastic vertically slitted, big tail should have a great action, don't know how many trout the barra have seen in Mondy or Awoonga.
