Steve ....... Doesn't a slim beauty involve tying a overhand (granny) ....... Which then clangs through the guides .............. I'm not to sure if I would be using it when you are casting long with say slick rigs

Chris,

With the tag facing back towards you and the braid wraps forming a sort of tapered section in front of the largest part of the knot they travel through the guides quite smoothly. There is no clanging like when you use an albright, and I am yet to have a SB unravel on the cast like albrights tend to do when your casting flat out for distance repeatedly (might be the way I tie em- who knows )

As for leader knots, I have a Roo to tie them for me.

Thats what I was gonna say....but you've hit the nail on the head Mick. Good to see Steve has been converted to the fraternity of the Slim and Beautiful. Myself and Jas are the poster boys of this weird cult. we need all the members we can get....particularly a few pretty ones like steve , cuddles all round.

And your getting clips so I'm not constantly tying loop knots for you either.....this is the last trip I tie your Knots. I've shown you how, you've done them yourself. time to step up and have faith in what you tie......but only if your throwing the cheap/old/found lures.....the good ones i'll do.
