Will attempt to make it slightly less obvious next time But with Chris have no access to a puter next week, throws our guessamation right out the window.

New Supa IGA opening in Gin Gin around the 17th sept about the same size as a Woolies or Coles and competative prices to the city stores they say, deli, cooked chooks fruit/veg all the bells and whistles

So guys & girls, hows the preparation for the first trip of the 'new' barra season coming along? has anyone lashed out on new rods n reels? what about a re think on lines,lures and leaders?
I've been toying around with a few new (and old) lures and new leaders in the shed and cant wait to put some of my ideas into practice, and Im guessing that one or two of you guys have a few new tricks up your sleeve.. does anyone want o share their ideas??

I posted a description about 234 posts ago yesterday. IGA will be cool for the town. Pub bloke aint me for a while.....until next week

Northerly winds today and for next few days....my next door neigbour went up today, no fish.....and he saw a few new dead fish....WHYYYYY!! water temp is 21-21 deg. Hopefully something is not happening to them. I would have thought the worst was over....not trying to put dampners on things...just what I heard. Foxie is going up sunday, I will be too (pending hangover) I will check it out first hand.

I havent heard from Peter4 yet.....nor have I seen him in the emergency dept....bit different from last year!!

Fin finder, fuel is pretty much the cheapest around here in town. beer on par with the city...what else matters.!!! Hope you enjoy your trip...these guys are great fun!

respooled all reels with Tufline...so far so good, landed a few fish...casts BRILLIANT. Had some really stiff line called powerpro on a spin reel, soaked it in cuddly fabric softner....great!! Havent caught a fish yet but I doubt its weakened it. re-trebbled a few favourite lures. Got a newies. Flaps is one! (I will post a photo soon). Cleaned my guides on all rods...you would be suprised how much gunk builds up..

Finally, I have 'aquired' a set of spotties from work......soon to be mounted to the nose of the boat for night travel down the dam.....WARNING they may melt retinas of anyone looking at them!!

I am sure all the other guys have been doing bits and pieces too...interesting to see.
