Dear Chris,

Good for you! don't be too concerned about night temps you would be surprised how warm it can get in our camp of an evening .

Yes surface poppers are the go, never mind that new fangled plastic rubbish you may have heard of. Condoms on hooks .

And you want stiff heavy duty rods with 80lb braid, doubled twists and plated rope leaders. Oh and don't forget to crank up the drag with pliers! and you shouldn't have any trouble other than the occasional straightened hook so better to up grade them to just to be sure. And keep the line tight as possible don't give any. Oh yeh and bring a torch and some bread crumbs.

I am sure you will master it in no time! In a year you will probably giving us tips and maybe even living in God' s country?

PS ...... A little birdy has told me that the fishing is tough at Mondy right now That same little birdy says that water temps are around 23 Deg ........ Oh and said same little birdy did manage a $0.80 at around 11pm in bird bay -----

The little birdy found some new mates to sit up till 1.30am with ........ and drink with + burn stuff (sick little birdy )

That little birdy left his big nest at home - so is nesting in the smaller olive teepee at at powered site 13 ( other side of the post fence next to camp kitchen) ...... or look for the sign of a fire

time for the little birdy to go look for some more barra

Well the fun and games have begun so looks like I'd better get myself up there!

Myself and the Muster Trophy will be heading up tommorow - yes I did manage to get it off the wall of my study, although it involved a crowbar, lots of swearing, and the threat of a marauding bunch of Barra fisho's!

Figured I'd better get in while I can and bask in the glory of my title

NAGG is already there catching fish, a few others are sneaking in tomorrow and Friday but Kyle & I won't get there until Saturday morning!
