love to be there, but daughters 21st is a pretty important event also....she was sposed to be in canada by now, but is here for another month or so now..and yep cant miss it..all good , i will be up sunday arvo while you lot are still sleeping. ..will have a post muster drink sundy nite.

Sorry to be lazy and not go back and read through the 163 pages but what is the dates set in stone for the event and do we have a location in place? Also as i have never been to one of these gatherings is there anything else i need to know? Is anyone going from bundy? or not going and wants too? Im solo as usuall.....

From the last meet up at summerset.. Let's see.. Panadol +( for the morning after a bit of cake), fire extinguisher (Nagg), fire starter, grog, fuel ( that can double as grog), Plus all the camp / fish gear you would want...

You will have a ripper weekend, it's great bunch, just wish I could make it...

Look at the title ( for the dates )

The only thing that we stipulate is that every attendee is familiar with all 163 pages (2440 odd posts) of the BEN HUR thread. + can recite the Muster song ( I've got every lure)

on a serious note though

Generally we meet on the Friday ...... Saturday is the Muster day ( we fish for bragging rights & magnificent muster trophy) - The biggest fish ( photographed & measured) ........ 7pm close off & we crown the muster master before retiring to the fire

All we ask is that 1 new barra hardbody lure be donated to the pool - This goes to what is known as the Mikooh ( the person nominated & deemed to have the worst luck associated with the muster ( breakdowns ,kangaroo strikes , dropping rods overboard etc) - This is voted on by the attendees.

Its meant to be a fun gathering ...... seriousness is frowned upon .
As many will attest to - Its also about stamina.

So thats about it
with around 5 weeks to go ...... get reading

The Kenny Killer takes at least 5 weeks to brew so we're short on time to do one of those. we got one nice and close.


Yes well you Blokes had no trouble getting through $200 worth of my brew so it can't be too bad.

that's right if you missed the Session I was 50 and put on 50 litres of premium beer

I am not shouting again but can bring the big blue box full off the big cold 500ml cans if we can work something out?
