Teemburra is a cool looking place ....... mostly smaller fish but when you find em .... you can really smack em

Kinchant is a open basin with a lot of weed beds & lane ways (clear water) - Its known for its topwater fishing - there are some really big fish in there too

Both dams have good sooties too

Yes I was looking at the Pinnical Pub it might be a good place to camp for a coupla days.

The Kinchant looks like a big open water hole. I gather the camping facilities there are substantial with camping cabins units and a licensed restaurant?

Are there cabins there ..... it looked like basic camping to me All I know it was nice green grass drive the boat & leave it on the shore.
Me ...... I'd fish Kinchant in the morning & Teemburra in the arvo

Give a man a fish & he will eat for a day !
    Teach him how to fish
& he will sit in a boat - & drink beer all day!

Agree Ren, thats a great song.
The mouth grip and lift wasnt great, but at least they were smaller fish (I just release those pups boat side if I can), with out the bulk of the larger "pigs" we see around the traps, and the boys who did the film were savy enuf to use mid rif support once the fish was boated.
Very Monduran like by the looks, how is the average size of fish in there now??

Teemburra has its own charm Brian ...... from the forested creek to some little back bays ( its only small dam though) - Love the place

Matt & I had some great encounters during the prefish for the ABT ( from memory my best was 86cm)

As for size ...... you can get lots of 30-40s - 80s are a good fish ...... but there are bigger

I guess a Gennie or two will deal with Battery charging and some lighting......I like the idea of putting your boat in the water on arrival and back on the trailer when you leave for home will eliminate too much traffic within the Camp Site
    Good Mates....Good Food.....Good Fishing....Priceless

    Rob

Steve B is talking to Rob and Kelly at the kiosk about securing a site near SDA Bay. He was going to do a reccy and report back....in terms of power, I'll have a genny and I am sure a few others will as well, so you should be right for power.

    Cheers
