camped at willowgrove once chris....SANDFLIES...little buggers tore the crap out of me....

I guess you have to expect that when you're near a mangrove lined river

Last trip we stayed at Willowgrove ....... better facilities ( next door to fuel & a feed) but F^&#n& traffic noise ( with a truck stop nerxt door .... on the Hwy) The Facilities are not overly good at the dam ( but that's the price you pay ..... 10 mins closer to the dam) ...... We will stay there rather than Willowgrove

yep i stay there twice now in one of the little cabin 60 dollars a night comfortable and cheap as im a memeber of the big 4 club save 6 dollars a night so i get it for 54 a night i had a mate who had stay at the one on the damm and he said it was bad so we stay at the willgrove and never bothered with the other one but i eaasy ill give anything ago if it mean waking up to see the damm well that would be nice i belive they it has new owners and they have fixed it up abit . any of you awonnga fisho verify this ?

Actually ... those cabins are pretty good & if you had 4 staying in one ......... the cost would be about $25 / night , which isn't too bad when a tent site is around $15.00 each

Why don't all of us band together and make it a small IBD Fishing Club.

Instead of donating a lure each put our fifteen bucks in the Monduran stocking groups donation box.

The muster can be our annual gathering.......

Some time in January ........ Our agent retires at the end of that month ........ So it really cant be much later than that.

bugger still got a fair drive for ya next couple of trips oh welll im hoping to slip one last trip in the end of january hopefully now that i have had my injection done and so far (only had it done today )it seems ok bit sore but not to bad i think the atasepthic is holding me ok at the moment bring on novemeber i hope its good enough so i can go for another fish this weekend the fishing should be good in the river for jacks and jew with it getting warmer

Yeh ..... The ABT trip in November will be big ....... & after that - my re location
I should manage 1 or two weekenders in Jan / Feb ........ before a bigger trip in March.

yrah jacks here and no crocs but they have been abit quiet for me so far just catching jew fish but i will get one in the next little bit or so brissy rivers has jacks and samon and snapper so youll be set

To right we all put in our so called membership which gives you a shirt and a sticker for the boat which Daryl can do and each year we can put something back into the pond we all love. No to mention our little club comp and all night fire watches
