Hey Langers, Long time no hear!! Is it this weekend coming that your talking about??? 4/5oct??? if so, I just happen to have the weekend off. We will catch up.. you should do OK, last time you did and it was tough fishing then. you doing ABT this year?? anyway, talk during week.

Chris, I have noticed Sept in general has pretty stable weather patterns, hence why the tend to begin firing up. Obviously anything can happen of course. my vote was for new moon, purely for less boating traffic, better day fishing, and getting everyone home off the water earlier in the evening....but hey, I am here, doesnt worry me when its on!!! Its allllll good.

Compelling luner cycle on that weekend ........ a 6.09pm moonrise on the Saturday ..........Potentially - a sunset bite & a moonrise bite ( Sat , Sun , Mon & Tues ...... all before 9pm )

Regardless ...... I'm thinking I may have to be there for that weekend .......

Weekend after fathers day is fine.

The water should only get warmer.

Either that or wear a campground full of kids and supervisors, bugger that!

Remember we don't have sole rights and other family minded peoples may well be filling the grounds on fathers day.

Let's put some thought into it boys .

My vote definitely for the new moon. Doesn't intefere with Father's Day commitments and hopefully a good daylight bite. Plenty of time for socialising afterwards.

Worth a thought.

Will be there chris, dont know about josh this early,,but hopefully there for a few extra days this time, i dont have a boat at the moment,so will just tell josh hes goin or im taking his boat.. will we have to sort out a spot away from the crowd no doubt...for after hours activitys..but will need more sleep next trip...the sunday fish this time round was not pretty.. ..couple of trips before then ,so far november and january so prob see you in november....
