His name was Phil Schrader....I think I have spelt that wrong!!! I had a breif chat with him up there. He was a really down to earth bloke.....for a yank

I dont have contacts for him, But I am certain Johnny Mitchell does, check with him.

Just curious - but amongst all the hippity-hopping going on has/was Shraeder been given credit for bringing us this latest piece of leap frogging? Any mentions anywhere?

Speaking of which, the Squidgy copies are disappointing.
Their material is a bit on the rigid side, and the foot lobes are undersize. The kick on contempories like the Bull Ribbit is like comparing a dog paddler to Leisel Jones.

To stray off topic, the rod angles piece in the latest Modern Fishing is technically wrong. It would have been worth raising with author Starling at the recent tackle industry annual show but he was no where to be seen.

not sure about the credit thing Rod!! but he is certainly a class fisherman who demonstrated how far behind 99% of aussie fisherman are. I was in the boat next to him at the ABT...his hookup rate was about 5:1 compared to us...and his boater fishing the same big weedbed up the guts of the dam.....if he had of landed all the fish he hooked he would have won by the length of flemington straight!!!

I personally haven't used a frog or toad plastic yet!!!!...when the time is right maybe!! As I said in previous posts...there is going to be some average fishos very disapointed this year when the magic frogs (what ever stable they come from) dont catch them squat!!! Of course it will be the lure fault....it always is.

Havent seen the rod angles article...I dont buy fishing magazines...most of them are full of....well you know the rest!!

Stayin out there the night and have a few beers with the lads., campin!! havent dont that for a while....bit girly these days..!!! love me bed!!

Didnt get to catch up with ben and Paul last night..they got caught in a big traffic jam at a prang south of childers!

Im out buddy, played the GF last nite, got other commitments today, so Im goooooone.
All I can do is sit back here and wait for the reports to roll back in
If nuthin else, with that many ausfishos spread out up there at least it will provide a comprehensive snap shot of a fair part of the dam as to where fish are holding and whats working at the moment

It's a bummer you couldn't get up there Brian - hope to catch up with you sometime soon up there.

I just got back and had a fantastic time - what a great bunch of people, plenty of laughs to be had!

Steve - hope you haven't got a sore head today! A few of the fellas were having such a great time last night they kinda forgot to go to bed and were still going when I got up at 6 o'clock!

I think the plan is to put up a different post for reports, and there was much discussion about what the title should be (I can't remember what it was) so will wait untill someone with a better memory than me gets the ball rolling on that one!

Suffice to say I plan to be at the next Mondy Muster for sure - wouldn't miss it for quids!
