As the titles says what is better for offshore SP fishing, the daiwa CY spin or the nexave both in 4000 sizes. It will be used for reefies, trevs, and maybe some bottom bashing for a bit of fun. This is my secondary reel as I already have a slammer. And also what do you think about the rovex silun?

Stay clear of the silsun(Jarvis walker).Mate has one and its not much chop,the line roller runs on a teflon bush and once it wears(not long in Dons case) the roller wobbles and your line ends up behind the roller,you know what happens next.

Yeah mate I think I'll just buy another slammer, good reel and not a hefty price tag.
