borumba blow out

gidday ausfishos,
woke to a solid sw blow sat early sat morn do i go or not.??ive got a leave pass for the day im goin.. got to the ramp 6am wooo cold n windy not nice,but dam looks great at 100%,wasnt to bad in some bays but we threw everthing at them all day for nothin zip not even a look, spinners , h/bs, cranks,even frogs nuthin..the only fish we saw were some very sick bony bream with some sort of fungi groth on them.i think today might have been better ,(blame the blustery sw)looks like brian had some fun at NPD, good on ya,..woke to a great morn today so put off the lawns for a quick fix in maroochy river along the jettys near the mouth for dozen or so good bream, flatties and even a couple of whiting all on plastics (sorry no pics). then home in time for jas on the tele,good bit of footage got the ibd twitch goin had to calm it with cuple o xxxx...

i had the same sort of day at monduran deano fish my ass off and got nothing saw one landed off bank ,we will be at borumba on the 19th so hope it picks up by then thanks for the report

We've had so much rain up here the last few months, Borumba hasn't had a chance to settle down. I think it is at the 98% mark. That plus the cold snap will keep the bass quite.
Points to a good season once the weather warms up and the dam drops a bit.
See you on the water in Sept.

hey warrior,later in the month will prob be a different story,that wind on sat was very gusty and cold . didnt hold much hope but casted our arms off anyway..havent seen borumba at 100%before jee it looks good will definatly be back on a warmer day..goin to monduran in september for a weekend so prob be back to borumba by the end of sept...sav, might see you out there on the back end of sept..cheers deano...
