    hi wamjam yeh the weather is all over the place,,,blowing a gale here also...have you been getting any fish mate, im still keen to get into some redfin but the snow and rain has stuffed things up a bit. cheers bdowdy..brett

    went to Copeton thismorning ,water was 12 C and got up to 15 ,perfect day ,went with an old fishing mate who is very competitive so there was some try to beat cast happening.
    Anyway we got nothing.
    A great morning out.
    Spotted 12 hogs lapping up the quiet season on the foreshores.

    11 hogs were good and one slip that we seen. Best might have been 80ish.

    hi ben, mate i really do love were i live, i can raise my kids in a nice country town , fish and hunt 5 minutes from town, cheap, and the coast is only a few hours away if i get the urge,so the cold i can put up with..LOL..LOL..mate cod fishing is great youll have to give it ago.thanks bdowdy..brett

    Sounds like a great spot!!!! Do miss the old open fire at home, just hate getting so cold outside that you cant stop your teeth from chattering. We have had a fair bit of rain recently, but when the rivers subside and the clarity improves i am going to do some bank walking for some Cod. Gee they are impressive.
