I have been scouting around looking at various brands of boats and god its confusing. I am looking at about a 4 meter tinnie, and liked the brooker 4.1 safari. Also the seajay 3.95 angler looked like a good tinnie. Any comments on brooker boats? 25 - 30 hp? i have about $9000 to spend.

found a 2nd hand 4.2m stessco 3mm bottom for that sort of money
Big difference in prices when you start looking at the inclusion of side decks, casting platforms, electronics, elect trim and tilt etc
I have a brooker 410 fisherman with 40Hp. I have never regretted buying it for one second and I still get a little tickle downstairs when I see her sitting in the yard. I have found it to be a fantastic boat, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone
Mine is 12 months old and was under 10 grand brand new ( as pictured ).

Yep, like baitwaister I got the fisherman , the seating works for the family, and with the 40 hp (max ) it will get through the bar quick ! also found it has alot more options than the others i looked at, and it was cheaper, got it new in 06 and it's been through some hell and no broken welds , allways look foward to getting it out on the water, got it fr marine tune at burleigh for $2500 hull only
after getting the engine raised and fitting a permatrim I did a test/speed run today and gps said 64.1 klm's , you'll want the 40 whores
I've had my brooker boat now since January and i absolutely love it. I bought a 4.6m centre console with a 40hp merc 2stk. $17,400.
It's extremely light and is very stable on power and anchor. Compared to other brands they are cheap, but i've never heard a bad thing about them. THey are like a boat where you pay $10k and get a boat worth $20k.
forgot to mention. i bought my boat through Cunninghams. great service and top blokes. The kind of people who will stay back after hours for your questions.
