    unless you can read japenese good luck, the AUSTRALIAN smith catalouge is all written in jap let a lone a website, its basically the rep that is selling the shop the rod off their demo models, because they are so expensive the shop can't just order them and turn around and say they don't want it, so if you do find a site, make sure you have the model number you want, or at least played with the one you want.

    Anyone know some OS sites that can supply smith rods? Be interesting to see the price difference from local suppliers...
    I bought a WGJ 50H from Anglers Pro Shop http://www.anglers-proshop.com/ earlier in the year and saved a couple of hundred BUT not all models are cheaper.

    hi ive got a smith gtk 74 pg love it alos have some of their lures i had to order the rod in and took about 7 weeks to arrive in shop but worth it

    bennywise as for buying o/s i have used plat before they have some smith rods also if the model is not on there list email them i did for a megabass independence i wanted the 110 they got it for me one thing though the shipping cost for a rod was not cheap.

    hello all, i have just purchaced a smith bream dancer, it is a two piece rod and where the rod joins it seems there is about 1cm gap, between the two halves where it slides together, i was told at the tackle shop this is normal, can anyone confirm this for me please, cheers gav

    Is this the one with the lowrider guides & how do you find they compare to normal guides? What reel have you got attached?

    yes mate it is the one with small guides, and dont know havent used it yet , though i only own stradics, and a exellor, so one of the 2 , will let you know once i have figured out the join issues mentioned above, cheers gh

    yes mate, a gap is perfectly normal. It looks a bit industrial but it's not a default with the rod.
