Navionics Gold Card 8G147S

Hello,

I did post this in the 'Wanted' section but had no reply so I thought I would try here just in case ! ! !

I have a Hummingbird Matrix 97 and am after the Navionics Gold Card for it. The one I need is 8G147S which covers Cooktown to Lucinda.

In the shops they tried to sell me the latest 'C' maps which cover the whole of Australia but I live in Cairns and doubt if I will ever go out anywhere else! These cards are $100.00 more than the normal Gold Card and excellent value but I just dont need one!

So, I was hoping that if someone was considering updating their card to the 'C' map (as they may travel to more than one of the areas covered by one card) they may be interested in selling their old Gold Card (card type SD).

If anyone does please contact me asap as if I do not hear back soon I will have to bite the bullet and buy one from Whitwoths ($289.00 unless anyone knows of a better/cheaper supplier too).

$289 is the price of a new chart.

i know you said you weren't going to travel outside of that area, but really for the extra $100 it is well worth it. think of it's resale value in the future.

for me i was forced to buy all of australia as the regional map cut me off 1/2 way between 1 major point of interest up and down the coast.

have you tried egay.. i mean ebay

I know what you are saying for the resale value but thats why I am after the Gold Card as like I said I will not be going anywhere else!

This is why I thought it would be a good opportunity for someone else to benefit on the resale of their Gold Card and this way we would both get something out of it. Instead of them paying TWO lots of $289.00 for different areas they will paying say $389.00 for the whole of Australia but what would they do with their old card? This would give them the chance to get something towards the new one anyway.

I use Ebay quite a bit but have never seen the card I need on there!
