    a nother stinken bream post

i went chasing jew on friday night, did not get a touch on my bait.
i went back to the same spot the next day and burlied all day and fished all night for the jew and still got nothing but i did meet 84mick there, he was cool to chat to and his mate got a catfish. i did give a bream bank a good working over befor i met mick at the jew hole and got a nice 35cm and a stonking 38cm to the fork on my modifide pigmy and a few other runts not worthy of a pic on my new cam (thanks nico dr for the cam its sweet).
sunday i planed to smash more bream at twinnies so when i got there i was not impressed as the water was chocolate brown and i new it be tuff going with plastics. so i put my pigmy back on and cast out and 3 cast later crunch yeerr, a little runt bream skoffes my lure. i ran back over the same spot again and crunch o no, o no thats the cod, o no, o on zzz STUCK "DAM".......WAIT WAIT. HES OUT YER...then slack....... the hooks pulled ooooooo. i was dead lucky as i new it was a big cod that bricked me and the modifide pigmy survived to swim a nother day. that incounter had me scared to keep useing it as it is a weapon of domination and id cry if i lost it after what it has been thrugh. i knew that with the water as dirty as it was that the i needed more vibration in the water than id get with a hb so i swaped to my tt switch blade to see it i could get a better outcome. it worked, and on the first cast i was smashed on the drop yesssss. i then got in to frenzy with stud bream full of milk to keep me there for a few hours, the tt was working so so well untill it found a patch of carpet under the water so i went in to try and get it back but it was too deep and i was not going under when its bullshark feeding time. i switched back to the pigmy amd nailed a few more studs and heaps of runts. i think i nailed about 60, yes thats right 60 bream for the day and was one of the most action packed land based breaming days iv ever had
ps i have to do a plug, iv been useing 6lb sunline fc rock flurocarbon leader for the last 6 months and after just useing up the verry last bit of it. iv found it to be the best iv ever had. i cant live with out it. get some and see for ya self, fc rock, rocks

yer im starting to feel that i should go in a bream comp and try and win back some money from the stinky buggers. they have set me back a few thousand $$$ in lures and what not, time to claim some back.

nugg good stuff, although i hate breaming ill still take my hat off to that effort!! you certainly know how to smash the breambo's. the TT S/Bs are a gun lure for them too. i sometimes get them as a smelly by-catch when useing them to trevs!

top stuff reece on ya first sp bream. give the switchblade a go now with all this fresh water at the moment, if you fishing deep then use small slow hops like with a plastic, if your in shallow stuff just mid slow roll them and the stonkers just love them. i was fishing in kawana water cannals and twin waters cannals.
