Sat evening at Peel

Went out Sat arvo/night and worked an area to the west of Peel, sadly no fish of any size only under size squire. Might have to start buying fish at this rate. The weather was great and only a slight breeze. We had a marker out and were drifting early on but anchored up on a likely patch about 100 meters from the marker. Later into the nights two other boats move in and anchored within 30 meters of us, I don’t think they caught anything of any size either and soon moved on. But when we went to pick up our marker, guess what, it was GONE not impressed. This was no off the shelf unit but one I had made , I would say they either ran over it and cut the rope or helped themselves.

no fish...some undesireable helped themselves to your gear...BUT...the weather was great and you were out on the water...better luck next time mate
