Just a question for all the offshore fishos from the goldie to D/island what is the perfect time to fish for snapper, pearlies, parrott etc
I.E -My view Southeast wind 10 to 15 knts
- Moon nearly full (three day's before full)
- Barometere anything over 1020
- Water has to be running but not to hard curent from the south
- Not much traffic on the water.
PS i know any time is a good time to fish but just a conversation that comes up a lot would like to hear other views on this suject
Cheers lenny

Any time the bar's up around 1020, and the wind's under 15 knots. The fish will be biting somewhere, it's up to you to find them. No luck? Move!

Carbon Really Ain't Pollution.
Not this afternoon Just came back in very quite out in the bay today.
the bay was glassed out all afternoon
I want to try a bit of night fishing out in the deeper stuff but with only a 4.1M tinny I'm still biding my time untill i'm happy to be out there in it. I go out there in the day light on a good day. Esturies from the Goldie to Noosa not a prob most times because I've been there before, but even they can still get scary after dark.
Its all about moon and more importantly, currents and bait, I personally do not think the wind is a factor.
Cheers
