    Re: Braid

Get rid of anywhere between 2-10 metres depending on abrasions, history/stress in the line, don't fish with weak points in your line apart from your knots

    Re: Braid

Do it as your line requires it. Feel along the line as you wind it in and if you feel and nic's replace it ASAP. I replace my line quiet regularly, but I fish alot.

    Re: Braid

I usually fish a few meters of leader , so the braid remain unscaved for
as long as possible !! Then your only replacing the leader ( except for the ocassional wind knot ) rather than the braid ......I only cut off the braid when
it starts lossing it coating !!!

    Re: Braid

Im with Mark-P, the leader cops most of the stress, other than that just when it looks like in needs it. Good question but.

    Re: Braid

Yer the leader cops most, but just feel the line every now and again when fishing (more if your fishing high abrasion areas) and if it is cut ect replace straight away
