Good stuff mate, look forward to seeing it. Make sure Vin and Navi, actually just make that Navi sign a waiver that if he breaks anything he will have to pay hehe
Navi seems to have some anger issues when it come to quality glass instruments.

    Cheers

    Jas

    Lol Jas

You're right mate....Vin just loses rods overboard, Navi aka RA makes them two piece first

I have a plan for Nav........if he breaks anything he is being frog-marched to the naughty spot (locked in one of the rod lockers) for the rest of the session

Thanks mate, it's been a while in the making and am just learning to drive the damn thing properly atm. A couple of times now, I've been searching for the brake pedal Look forward to catching up with you again and swapping notes. We'll be at Monduran in early September and Awoonga is mid to late October.

Nav.....I'm going to have to call you Funnelweb if ya keep those antics up......bites viciously when provoked

    Cheers

No more antics or we'll end up hijacking Matt's post with me bearing the brunt of the banter.

Back to fishing - Matt, well done mate. Keep up the prospecting - I'll be lookin to pick Theo's and your brain before mid Oct when we stay with Joe for a week. Look forward to cathin up for a coldie - I heard you don't mind one (slab).

Ha, you guys hi-jack the thread all you like. I want to see where this one goes....Sorry Nav, but I reckon it's your day once again

    It is bloody entertaining stuff

As for the coldies, well what can I say except I work up a sweat after reeling in the big ones, and deserve a coldie or 24

    Navi Navi Navi,
You will find my rod abusing friend that your rod lockers hold a fine combination of glass/graphite/composite, so as to give a little more strength.
If they were all graphite mate, crikey they be cracking off all over the joint.

Paul, good to see you are taking the time to learn how to drive your rig, it took me the best part of 4 months to get it right with my boat.
Knowing when to have it up on the plank, knowing when not to and where to have trim in differing conditions is the key, Im sure you have found how trim sensitive they are.
Most certainly will catch up for a beer or two and a chat when your down, I have quite a few charters in September at Monduran so let me know when your up.
    Cheers talk soon.

    Thanks Jas

Yep, the trim is very responsive, but thankfully I don't need to take my hands of the wheel to fine-tune it. She gets up on the pad quick smart, which is a blessing carrying a couple of book ends on board Look forward to a beer or two with ya.

Yeah sorry for the thread hijack Matt, but we just can't overlook the chance to square up with Navi every now and then.

Purcho, both his feet will fit in the rod tubes easily, sort of like putting him in stocks Thankfully the lockers are lighted, otherwise we'd never find him after dark

Matt, with your form in recent times, and with Joe and Theo, the boys should be in for an awesome week of fishing come October.

    Cheers

Thanks Jas but obviously all my rods are graphite or I wouldn't keep snapping 'em like toothpicks , mind you, you've seen my cannons so Iit may just be a case of too much dynamite .

Two fold - don't encourage them mate , they are juvenile.

Jas, the only reason Paul got that boat is so that he can keep up when we 'blow fly' you .

Matt - looking forward to Oct mate - my shout! If you score me a PB .

    Re: Teeny Terrors at Tinaroo

Your cannons need a little de-tuning Navi, they are weapons. Thats from hauling all those monsta kegs you ravage out of the sticks down at Monduran.
Blow flies? By the looks of it Paul has gone for 4 stroke power...the 150HO is still good for 65mph so I should be sweet.
How tall are you again Navi? I might have to measure up my rod locker .
Look forward to catching up with you all soon.......yes you too Navi
Hey Pauli does Vin bite as good????? Might have to bait some hooks.
    Cheers
    Jas

PS Matty I hope your rods have the expedite warranty keep a few spares mate.

They are weapons of self-destruction Just have a look at them in this pictorial expose........no wonder Navi breaks rods like toothpicks. The man does not know his own strength. But have a look at the food he eats in an average sitting to fuel those guns. OMG If you look closely, I have even zoomed in one one of his biceps to give you an idea of the unrealised power that he has on tap.

In terms of height, don't measure your rod lockers....what's the height of your bum seat? Just jokes Nav I am going to cop it soon me thinks

Vin is the quiet one mate.....wouldn't bite if a shark shouted him Pardon my dyxlesia

    Cheers

Knew I should never have let you on my boat with a camera Paul.

That barra was trying to puncture my guns !! Pretty sad when the swelling from the puncture is bigger than my bicep!

Mind you, the ‘swelling’ you were getting from seeing me land all those metrey’s wasn’t too impressive either – you obviously nicknamed YOURSELF ‘Big Ren’ .

That’s not a feed mate – we normally do a barra curry with rice and pappadams !!

Jas, looks like we planning on the 3-4days starting the 12th of Sept. You better pack some short strokers for me mate, unless you want a 2 pirece boof stick !

I think Paul got 83mph out of his boat last test but with just me at the wheel, it should hit 100mph – hopefully not cross-country like Barra Miller .

Matty – better get Wheezer to do me a custom stick mate as he guarantee’s 100% break resistant (for my guns) !
