    Scorpion Weave Pattern

    Thought I'd post this pattern for anyone that wants to try it out.

    All the necessary files are here regardless of whether you work from a left list, or from a grid.

    Hi Owen
    Will give it a go scorpio is my star sign should look good in met gold and black,also saw your weave of a horse on the rebuilt abu you indicated you had posted it before ,tried to find it but list only goes back early 2007, if possible could you post it again as i would love to do it for my daughter who is ten and loves fishing and is also building her first rod.

    Ian,
    The left list assumes that you start from the left.
    i.e.
    The butt facing your left as you look at it & weave from left to right.
    This is how almost everyone does it, except Doc Ski who weaves from right to left.
    In this case the claws would be facing the grip as you hold it.

    owen,it came out left to right just upside down
    anyway it just got knifed i broke a couple of threads while packing

    Below is an image of how the rod & looms would be set up.

    You would start wrapping from the left (closest the butt).

    I had the same problem just need to make sure No.1 thread is at the top not closest to you Owens diagrame has it right

    its all good guys thanks, the ball just dropped. changing weave numbering to suit. dont suppose you have a dragon weave handy owen? 1 to suit a 16 mm blank. i,m going to get the hang of this shit yet, i will not let it beat me.

    Lucky I know him well enough to now he ment that in a nice way.
