    Savage Tasman Sp Mkii 5.2m

    I am looking at buying a SAVAGE TASMAN SP MKII 5.2M with a 75 honda 4 stroke and was just interested in peoples thoughts on this kind of boat?

    Hi , I am baised-I have owned a Tasman 5.2 (2003)for about 16 months now-purchased second hand- has a 115 optimax on the back. Rides and behaves itself pretty well. No problems to date. The 115 is in the upper range of HP for that model and its more than enough for my applications.

    You havent mentioned if you are buying second hand or new- anyway I d take it for a test drive- I would suggest you are in the lower range of HP there and that could be an issue if you are loaded up etc
