anyone know the main difference between a honda bf75 and mercury 75? i suppose optimax would be the equivalent?
was looking for some prices too. Also i think Honda are quieter?
Just doing some research on going from inboard to outboard on my 33' hartley.
currently have the 4 ltr falcon motor which i think is approx 200HP but would loose at least 1/3 by the time it comes out the prop so i reckon around maybe 60HP at te prop or a bit less.
What is the HP at the prop on a 75HP? i am assuming re power to a full depth pod with a 75HP would be pretty much the same power I have now.
