Went fishing last month with a couple of mates with local charter operator Peter Stevens at 1770 and had a black marlin double hook up, both around 15kg juveniles - very exciting! We also caught some good reefies including a 6 kg coral trout.

Nice trout and cod there did the marlin revive and swim away the one on the left looks like it may have struggled to revive .
quote of the day ( guns don`t kill people fathers with pretty daughters do ) !!
WOW, nice marlin mate!!! They woulda made your arms sore.
Cheers Tom
Top fish mate!
Loving the double hookup pic. I tasted a slab off a small black marlin earlier this year and i've gotta tell you, its not half bad. I know in comparison to coral trout and cobes they're not as top, but they're really not as bad as everyone makes out.
live bait jigged in the morning on the way out
left one was a nice taste as well the trout
had a bad time on the floor of the boat so we ate it
