    it all depends on how much your stuff gets used and what conditions you fish

    I keep the avets and accurates for outside while I have daiwa and abu for barras and then its the alveys and the cheapies for beach fishing

    I don't know whether the quality of abu is going downhill but my old 6000 with a few bearings replaced and erskine drag washers performs better than many of the newer ones

    my guess is the line your using, use lighter line on the tld25 and see what happens

    u dont have to spend thousands to get a good set up,maybe a fair few hundread.the main differance i can c threw cheap an expensive gear is from experiance is the exspenvive gear wont fail u when used time after time.were as as cheap gear will.got a fluger contender cheap seccond use was groanen like the missus will pay the dollars.
