Help with the climate control
I have a 04 Pajero exceed and the heater side of the climate control is not working. The air con is working fine just when you crank the heat up it doesnt get hot.
I was told that it is probably an electrical problem.
Any ideas

Re: Help with the climate control
This sort of thing used to be a simple fix, there will be a valve that simply opens and closes or part there of to allow radiator fluid to pas through a small underdash radiator which the fan blows air through to heat it. Once a sold wire used to switch it....today you might even have a servo for all I know, but it still should have this simple valve, good luck if it is not a simple parts replacement job, the wiring they use these days can make the stuff of nightmares a joy ride.

Thanks guys for the reply's.
I rang the dealer today for a price on getting the timing belt done and asked about the heater.
They said about the valve you are talking about fnq controled buy the onboard computer and they just plug her into their computer and it will tell them where the problem is, so she's booked in to get some work done.
Thanks again

Re: Help with the climate control
It could be a vacuum line on the heater tap that has come disconnected or the tap has siezed. Probably something simple but the hard part is finding it
Cheers Mad
