    Barwon Banks Fires

Well What A Difference The Full Moon Does For Fishing In One Weeek.
Chris, Bevan, Doug And Myself Travelled To The Banks On A Glassed Out Trip.
We Had A Drift From West To The East Catching Only, Iodine Bream And Small Red Throats.
We Then Went Out To Deeper Water, dropped The Pick And As Soon As The Bait Hit The Bottom We Where On.
We Ended Up With 20 Snapper,8 Pearlies And 2 Cod.
    7 Snapper Of 5kg.
We Had Brilliant Weather For A Change, blue Skies,no Wind, wales About And A Full Moon Below.
Thanks To Chris, bevan And Doug For Helping Clean The Boat And Fish.
Looking Forward To Next Full Moon.
    Cheers Mark.

Nice work mate. The snapper seem to be in the 65+meter depth.

Great catch. The shallows were dead as far as i could tell apart from undersize sweeties. Did 50-60k's in my tinny looking for some yesterday and got nothing of note. Am thinking maybe the full moon is not so good for the shallowere stuff. Ben

We were out there on saturday running the southern end on the inside. Picked up a couple of undersize pearlys and red throat. Did manage to get a 8kg amberjack just before we left.

What is the one on the bottom of the pearls with the yellow strip in it? We got one of them but have no idea what it is so it went back. Wasn't sure what size it needs to be or if you can eat it.
