Tallebudgera Creek Monster! I never thought I would be catching a lizard like this one in the Palm Beach canal system these days... But their still there!

Nice flathead from quiet water, just goes to show you can get quality fish in the most fishable places.

Mate, used to live on Tahiti Ave in palmy........we used get flatties like that and few other species on pretty regular basis...in tallie creek find the bait schools or just a bit of bait and you will find the fish...bait always hangs around peoples pontoons etc normally the ones that aren't to will maintained and you will find the flatties just sittind in the ebs picking the bait off...had some real red hot sessions...have fun

Caught her on a Mann’s Stretch, trolling around 19th Ave, around about noon on near low tide.

Haven’t caught a fish like that there in years. Also haven’t caught a flathead that size in the Palm Beach canal system ever for that matter, and I have been fishing there for over 20 yrs.
