Well done those ZOOMs work very well. This reminds me i have to pop into Fishhead and get some more. Without giving to much more away what depth where you fishing. Thanks for the very good report.
Knocked off early and decided to make use of the good weather, to my supprise my wife asked for a seat in the boat with glassy conditions predicted.
Headed to Peel and started working an area, with a bit of instruction it wasnt long before she had her first Squire on plastics. A quick pic and off it went.
As sunset approach I set us up on a favourite bit of reef.
Throwing 5" Watermelon Red Pearl Zooms on 1/8 TT it didnt take long for some action. On the electric and out of the nasty stuff. Didnt take long for a Pink bad boy to hit the deck, with dinner caught and the chill coming in we left the fish biting and headed home in glass.
A great little session with my princess

Nice snap Leighton. Gotta be happy with that as the result of a pleasant session with the missus.
I was tempted to knock off early and head out for an afternoon session when i saw the bay from the hornibrook bridge. oh so jealous.
Congrats to the missus, is that a first on plastics?
Love the side burns
Good to see a report from you mate. I know your out there catching lots of fish, but we dont hear about it too often.
Thats a very nice snap mate. You certainly know you way around Peel. New boat looks nice, how does it go?
Looks a bit cold out there ay? Nice headwear
Thanks Plaztix, yep first Squire for her, she was pretty stoked. A few Squire and the masses of Tailor kept her interested. It was good to have someone take some pics
Thanks Marc, been getting a feed but im still not a member of the 70 Club . Busy with work an a few other things.
Mate really happy with the boat, does everthing I want just with out the frills.
Great stuff. Awesome snapper. Good to see you getting the missus involved. Mine would love to come fishing, but a 2yr old and 3yr old keep her at home.
Congrats to your wife on the first plastic/snapper, may there be many more to come. Thats a decent fish you got yourself as well mate, mmmmm snapper for dinner. Happy Ausfishers all round . Geez those conditions look magic! Did you have to share them with many others?

LMAO LANCAIR!!! Isn't that the whole idea? Occupy her with the young un's so you have a reason to venture out?! #2 for us is within weeks and while there'll be a short moratorium, it's back into it with her hands full...
Nice LEIGHTON! Hope the missus doesn't get too addicted, or you might be the one staying home
Take Care T
No kids yet Lancair, the pressure is on though
Sly, there were a few boats out there anchored up and few others flicking the western end. Made a change from the weekends, everyone was considerate and quiet giving eachother room
Thanks Brad
T1, not much chance of her being a regular with me. She gets seasick on the treadmill at Gym. It has to be Glass

thanks mate, that means a lot
Was a bit fresh on sunset, sadly my head has less hair than a peach
Egrell S2....there is plenty more fishing gear to get to catch up to what that piece of ice on her finger cost...and I remind her of that daily

You got me itching after I saw princess and your catch (well done) so I shot off to the Raby Bay boat ramp this morning and couldn't see my hand in front of my face from the fog. So went home, missus did a load of washing and headed back and out. Glassed out day, heaps of small squire; came home with only one 35cm sweetlip and 28cm bream for keepers both caught by my 15yr old daughter, boy she's got the nack.
I'm still itching.
Cheers
