Lowrance new Combo sounder gps

Looking at getting a new gps and souder combo the models im looking at are the LMS-527 CiDF and the LCX-27C dose any one on here have one and are they worth the money cheers.

I have 527, great unit for the price, especially after the recent price drop! I have only had mine about 3 months and its been fantastic. STill learning how to drive it, but they make it pretty easy.

If you got the real estate on your console, and you have the cash I would recommend not getting the combo. So many times I wish I could use both in full screen at the same time. Unfortunatly, i dont have the space on my console.

I have a LCX 38C DF HD which I got from the staes as Lowrance Oz aren't bringing them in so they told me.

I've found it to be excellent for what I do, downrigging FW where I need the thermoclyne info etc & to be able to track the bomb/s at a little speed.

These can be purchased from the states for under AUD $2k & yes contrary to a lot of popular belief Lowrance will cover warranties which was a concern I enquired about here 1st.

As I fish only fresh I don't really need the GPS & Radar side of things & only use it to have a play with when bored bait fishing.

I'm extremely happy with this setup, fully featured, powerful large screen {8"- 600 x 800 pixels} which do everything I want plus a lot more.
