Sensitivity adjustment on Lowrance

I have just purchased a lowrance X515 CDF and am wondering what sensitivity levels people are running on similar units. The one run I have done to test the install required me to be down to about 60% to get rid of most of the clutter.

I think the installation is fine held bottom up to 28 knots in 25 metres of water.

Any help or suggestions appreciated.

the book "Sounder Secret" is a great read, its all about Lowrance sounders.
Depends on what the water im in as to levels of sensitivy

for me i set my x135, depending on how clear the water is about 60 dirty water(3-5mtrs) & can have it looking good around 80-90 per cent clear water(10mtrs+).
