Maroon dam camping

Has anyone camped at the dam at Lake Maroon Holiday Park or campfire knowing that i will do some tubing duing the day and fishing early and late what the better stay.cheers

The last time we camped down there, we went around to the southern side, the only problems was back then before the rain, was the end of the ramp was 100m from the water, so had to drive around to the northern ramp.

Thanks webby yes lot more water i would think the campfire only is the better for fishing from what i have read.cheers
