DF175 Trim indicator on NMEA system

New to the site. From Va Beach, VA. I just wrote a long post, but accidentally deleted it, so I'll keep it short this time. I have a 199 Henry O that I installed NMEA gauges on. Recently bought a 2008 DF175. I got the engine interface (eng warnings, rpm...) working but no luck w/ the engine trim indicator. It stays at -1 despite where I put the engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Don't know if it's a digital/analog thing, or what. Thanks.

The trim indicator in older models works on a seperate plug on the NMEA motor interface
Trace the cables under the cowl you will need to disconnect the analog indicator and connect the NMEA connector

    Then it should work
