Your a lucky man Richie, you have the best of both worlds up there! not only am I jealous but was curious to know if you`ve been down to the old wharf area where the fish and chip shops are where you can have a feed at night? last time I was up there the kids all throw there left over chips in the drink and the big bat fish come up to feed and then out came the biggest barra i think i`ve ever seen in my life, about four of them , absolutely huge big monsters of fish? I can`t remember the name of the place but awesome to watch. Cheers Andrew

hey ritchie lived in darwin for 3 years out at leanyer behind the hotel a bit it is gods country for sure absolutely loved it, the salt water barra scene was unreal. try 4 mile hole for a fish it is an unreal place with good barra in it not bad area to camp either the swamp dogs are big too so be careful great report keep em coming

Nice work Richie. the sweetwater is a nice place to sit and contemplate......your next rustwater assault!!!hehe. togas' teriffic and billabong barra are a blast but i bet you're looking forward to the Tuna Tango.

Hi Richie awesome report mate thanks for taking the time to post and congratulations on your first post here.
Great photo's as well...keep em coming please as many of us over here love anything to do with Barra fishing and your photo's made us feel like going fishing asap!!!! Even though we just got back from fishing!!!
We need more reports from way up north mate as we have lots of reports from Gladstone down etc. The NT sure is a great place, enjoy...

Agree with Lyndon & Kel good to hear reports from the NT, Billabong barra in the dry are great and makes a nice change from SE QLD Lake barra reports
