Pump Question
This might be a silly question by no one can tell me the answer. I have a wale universal pressure pump on my boat which is used as a deck wash pump as well as for the live fish well. The filter (a new one pictured below) has broken so I need to replace it. The problem is fitting it. This will be obvious to someone who has used these fittings before but even the shop I bought it off did'nt know how to do it.
On the end of most bla products have the white bit that spins on the collar, then the cream bit on the inside which what ever you click into it clicks in so it is secure. The question I am asking is how do you get something out of the cream bit (unclick it). So that I can take the old filter out and put the new filter in.

Re: Pump Question
dnej,
I just need to know how to take a fitting out once it has been clicked into the cream bit. When you are fitting an item it slides in until it clicks in, I just need to know how to get it out again(get it out once it has clicked in).

Re: Pump Question
looks similar to a water filter fitting
Push the cream ring in/down this should release the locking ring
