Hello fishos,
Have joined Ausfish to read what the keen fishos do, when and where etc as they chase tailor in the surf on the Gold Coast during the winter.
Spent many years fishing from a seafarer off the Gold Coast and in the Hervey Bay, Burrum Heads areas with family etc.
I live on the Esplanade, Burleigh Beach so it is a walk across the Esplanade to the water.
Have just purchased a new surf rod and reel and am ready to go.
Question - We have had the pros netting mullet almost every day on the beach for the past week. Will these netters impact adversely on the tailor?
