simple it goes by how many posts u have to your name
here is the levels
Member Level -------------------------------- Posts
Ausfish Advertiser
Platinum--------------------1000
Gold-------------------------500 to 999
Silver------------------------250 to 499
Bronze----------------------30 to 249
New------------------------0 to 29

I reckon in a perfect world you'd need to have more than 3 words in a reply for it to be counted as an actual post.
