    As abbot86 stated earlier, we have caught whiting on pink, black, greens and gold coloured poppers.
    There's no doubt we have caught more whiting on the clear poppers simply because we use them more often than any other colour when chasing whiting.

    It's a StrikePro 50mm clear. My favourite. It's on the right in this photo.
    The 4 poppers on the left are all R2S Bubble pop 45's.

    Hi Baitmaster,

    I've used the clear version a lot for whiting, as I think it is the best at imitating a skipping prawn. It's very effective (see the first pic), and also picks up bream and flathead on the sand flats. BUT, when it's a bit windy and I want to cast further and make more of a splash, I use the red/clear Stiffy popper (see the 2nd pic). I tend to catch fewer but bigger whiting on this, and more flathead (probably because it covers more ground and is "noisier" as it pops and splashes across the surface).
