Great little poppers mate....They catch everything from trevally, jacks, bream and in the small clear colours very good for whiting.

Yeah the clear colour is the best colour for whiting in smaller sizes. Also you will encounter trevally, flathead, bream, cod and many more. Search for some good flats first..

i love these lures, they are great on a big range of species, the small clear one is a killer on whiting on the flats, this colour also works well over a shallow rocky bottom for bream, jacks, trevally, cod etc. 1 other thing is that you can add a few split shots in front of the lure and rip it back fast for tailor and trevally, its very exciting to watch. These lures are worth swimming for

the only reason everyone uses the rebel pop r in the clear colour for whiting and flatties is because that was what was on the fishing dvd. ive had just as much luck on other colours like pink and black even greens. but in saying that the clear ones do work well just like all the rest.

A matter of fact, colour doesn't matter when it comes to fish. And thats a true fact!

    Re: rebel pop-r????

But the clear colours meant to be a baitfish or prawn on the surface injured or swimming frantically. Doesn't it?

Colour may not make a difference on flattys but No colour gets a lot more hits from whiting without doubt. Ben

What makes you say that? Nothing could be further from the truth for the vast majority of fish.

Its been proven time and again that some colours outperform others.

That's what the popper itself does...............imitates a fleeing prawn or baitfish.
The colour doesn't mean it's a prawn or baitfish.
