Advertisements

Noticed a lot more advertising on on fish now... which to a point is ok - web hosting and cost of maintaining such a fabulous site has to be covered - but when trying to access the drop down lists I noticed more and more than they are obscured by advertisements that wont go away. For example, I just tried to click on "weather and tides" - but when the drop down menu is there - I cant read it as some advert for a boat brand is there..... There was no little x to close it... Dont mind adverts for a free site, but when you can view the site - its a bit much... Just my opinion.

yeah i also struggled with this and also when scrolling back up the page clciking on the advertising video.

That's odd, I haven't had any problems like that. Maybe it's a browser issue?

You could pay for the premium subscription for less adverts or use Firefox as your browser with the adblock Plus plug in...... no adverts

i dont get any advertisement problems as i have a pop block thingo with windows.

Just use the Premium Membership - Less Ads, no video popups, etc option

Some people don't want to pay to use the site though and that is fine.

If you have a mouse with a wheel just use it to quickly scroll the page so that the banner ad scrolls off the top of the page. If you don't have a mouse with a wheel just use the scroll bar.
