I am currently building my camper trailer, it will be similar to that of the Belco land and sea trailer i will be making it to take my 4.1 Poly Craft on it. I have currently got a roof top tent to go onto although i was toying with the idea of putting a camper trailer top on it but i can'ty find any that are high enough, my trailer with boat on will be about 140cm's high. Most camper tents are made for 110cm off the ground. Does anyone know any trailer tents that can go that high. I have sent an email to belco asking them but no reply yet.

Cheers mate yeah thats the sort of thing im after.
I make camper trailer skins for a living...well part of my living anyway. I contract out to two major companies in the Brisbane area and been making them for over 4 years now.
Have a look at my website www.lscanvas.com.au and I have a listing in the new Ausfish directory as well. All my campers are made from 15ounce Aussie made canvas, not the lighter weight crop thats coming from China. I use all the good gear inc zipper, slides, tentex and ripstop vinyl. Take the time and pay attention to the differences.
Making a top to suit your trailer is not a problem, even at that height.

Leigh would you be able to extend on my roof top tent. Only reason i want to go a camper trailer tent is the annexe area. At the moment my tent is excellant only takes 2 3 minuts to set up the sleeping areas but no real area to cook and eat in.
Anything is possible mate! What part of Brisbane (guessing you are in Bris) are you from...If it suits, you could bring the trailer/tent to me (or I come to you, either way) and then we could stare at it until we come to a final idea.Originally Posted by sctj88

Im from Nanango about 2 hours away. I'm not up for anything in a major rush i will probably just keep the roof top tent till after i come back from the cape then get it added on as i wont need the annexe for the trip going up with 5 other trailers so will just use there. I will come down one weekend though and just see if what i want done will be practical and possible.
