Hello all, Just wanted to introduce myself. What a great site- for all us die hard fishing fanatics. Iam taking a trip to the mouth of the logan river on friday specifically to try and catch my first Jew fish. I have heard they have been biting there. Can anyone give me any tips on the best place to go and what are the best baits,gear etc to use? Also what other fish can i expect to catch? Any Sharks around this time of year? Look at Nugget's site - he has a map of the pin - there is a place called 'giants grave' - near the logan...definitely worth a try....use fresh mullet strips and let it float down with as little sinker as possible - but this depends on tide flow...
