nice feed anyway
Went out sunday with my young fella and my brother. The plan was to head out the cockle banks but on the way out the caboolture river decided to have a go bit closer to home.Ended up with a good feed and had a top day on the water. For anyone wanting to have a go at beachmere worms were the bait of choice and no gps needed just stay out as far from shore as the yellow beacon out from caboolture river and in front of water tower at beachmere and start drifting. They were a bit patchy but you will drift onto them and they were a good consistant size also.
Would make a nice feast mate
I Fish, I catch, I SNAG
Looks like a great feed. Why so many kept though?
Cheers Tom
Some nice sized divers there...what did the tailor fall to?
Hi Tom... I like your angle of thinking, very refreshing to see a good head on young shoulders. I know it looks like a lot of fish but I personally can eat up to 10 fish when i catch a feed of whiting, and he was fishing with his brother which could mean there were two familys to feed. Theres 3 in my house with equal appetites...thats 30 fish for dinner, 60 if i want to take home a couple of meals. There may actually only be 2-3 feeds in that lot.
Cheers,
Jarred
tom dont mean to rip your head off but im starting to get tired of people asking questions about peoples choice to keep their catch. provided its within the law it shouldnt be questioned
I agree dan.
50 or so winter whiting is nothing.
That would be good supply of snapper bait for me.
Greg
The question was asked so i will answer there are 5 in my family and 5 in my brothers family plus some fillets to parents for a feed and another feed to a bloke and his wife from work so as you see tom there was nothing left over as i only bring in what i need as filletting whiting isnt my favourite pasttime.
Two dogs the tailor fell to a floating pillie
i agree u shouldnt question someone who took a feed of fish home that was legal

Live To Fish, Die To fish
Good to see that Feralmere is still coming up trumps at times... Nice feed of fish for sure.
Yeah I was only thinking..........
yeah fair enough. it was more of a question tho i wasnt having a shot but its starting to annoy me how people are critisized forkeeping their catch
