All the best there Roo. Are you doing some research for the upcoming electric comp in August or just visiting sunny tropical Queensland?

Yeh have to agree guy's and gal ,nice report, is that the dam behind Mt Warning?
If so I'll have to get up there.

I also was going to comment on the pink, but I would like to know who the spare pair next to you were for is pink your colour to Roo?

Is there anywhere to camp up there?Perhaps an M&G for the place?

RCHinze, we didn't go too far from the concrete ramp. I'd hit the lilly pads. That's where all our fish were caught. Cast hard up against them and they were hitting the sliders on the drop most of the time.

Rob the croc's were just in case is got a bit warm in the slippies, and for when we got back to the boat ramp. I have a great photo of Roo and Matt standing in their croc's and socks on the boat ramp mulling over how to get Matt in his boat without getting wet feet. The ramp is very shallow., you pretty much have to skull drag the boat up. We will check out the dirt ramp next time. It is public open space but no camping. Great for a family day. It hardly ever seems to have anyone there. Yep it's out the back of mur-bah.
    Cheers Kim.

    Hey Rob,
There is Midginbil Hill not far down the road. Haven't been there but it looks ok. We might have to do a reccie and check it out. we'll keep you posted. It would be great for a M&G in spring when it warms up a but. Bugger sleeping in a tent out there in winter.
    Cheers Kim.

No steve, She dumped me like yesterdays chip wrappers to go and shop unsupervised at a large centre full of Factory outlets with her sister and new little nephew. I'm dreading looking up the C'Card balance. there was lots of stuff in bags come home....including a nice little bath robe for me....I've been prancing around like Hugh Hefner ever since.

I can tell you all it's not a pretty sight. You think my slippers and bed socks were bad.
    Cheers Kim.
