Went for a afternoon flick around the reef at scarborough yesterday with my girlfriend and a mate, as soon as we got there we were pulling up baby squire left right and centre, to the point were it was getting annoying, lol i'd just thrown out my line when i heard my girlfriend let out a little yelp as her line started screaming out of the reel! She didn't want anything to do with reeling it in and handed the rod over to me, after a decent fight we got him into the boat, Measured him up and Bang! 36cm Bream!
So stoked, its definately the biggest one i've ever caught/girlfriend hooked up! lol Apart from that no more keepers heaps of small bream, squire and cod, but still a great arvo to be out!
