Went for a quick flick this arvo at Jacobs with Jason my young lad and nailed a few fish on soft plastics although it was hard work today to get a couple of keepers.

There was no shortage of hook ups but most of them were undersize and most Bream were fairly timid and difficult to nail. In the end Jason ended up with 3 bream 3 flattys and 1 flounder. My tally was 3 Flattys and 1 estuary cod. We kept a 55cm Flatty and the 45 cm Cod, the rest were released. The afternoon on the water was perfect for father & son and we managed a feed and some fun. A win/win situation.

Hi breambandit, on wednesday the bream were thick along the dropoffs on the soutport channel, i scored many in short order using the 2.5cm t tail berkley.

Nice day out then, good too see the flatheads are on the chew at the moment.

Nice Flattie for the pan, and water looks like a sheet of glass. It's a hard life we lead.
