Hello All,
I have just picked up my Outback Camper Trailer Explorer and want to install some 12 lights that will be hard wired. I am looking for some good quality lights either fluro or led or element. Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Marty
I normally have 3 or 4 fluro's hanging around our camp but for our last trip i invested in a 64 led strip light.I can now say my fluro's will be replaced with LED lights. One thing i did notice with the LED'S is there are NO BUGS hanging around the light.Bloddy fantastic.
I have portable LED lights but recently invested in a 12V torpedo light with additional 240 adaptor when power is available. Little pricey but bloody good and tuff with low power draw which is what you want. Runs straight off cigarette plug and has long lead and carry bag. Worth the extra $$$ I reckon. For permanent installation LED would be the go in my humble opinion if they're not too bright!
What brand are the torpedo lights? I have been looking for a good brand of 12 volt light price is not important if it gives out good light with low draw.

Torpedo is the brand name but made by ..I think it's the mob that make eskys..fridgemate..anyway if you look in BCF Queensland's latest catelogue they're on special with 240V adaptor! Bargain
try ebay mate, i got some flexible adhesive led strip lights that stick like shit to a blanket. easy to wire up and they are totaly sealed so 100% waterproof. I paid about 30 dollars for to 40cm 12 bulb strips delivered. they are real bright and can be stuck anywhere. the ebay shop was called brightlightautoparts
