Hey Breambuster,

i will be out that way tomorrow and prob friday.

Sorry i also have not fished that area before so i am not much help on what or how to catch fish there.

I am looking at heading back to Moreton if the weather is as good as it was last thursday ( fingers crossed).

I am fully armed now to see if i can have a fight or two with a couple of tuna... I have got the bug after last weeks close encounter .

what boat do you have.
if you see a smalish 3.5 m dinghy with the ausfish stickers the wrong way round (my trade mark) give me a wave.
a few have said there gettin a few whiting not sure what bait to use though

hey mate,

I was out that way sun morning after an overnighter at peel, just drifted a couple of times over the banks with prawns, didn't get to much, was only there for half an hr or so. My experience with pelican is its hit or miss, just watch out with the weather there as its pretty open and can chop up pretty quick.

How did you go, i have not seen a post from you in the Reports section ???

I ended up around the bottom of Moreton, chasing the tuna again with no success.......i can find them ok, but they just will not take anything that i throw at em ????
